General Information Concerning Breeding
After a breeding form is submitted, you can usually expect a response within one to five days, depending on how much stuff I have on. If I will not be able to respond within seven days, I will say so on the Home page.
A breeding form will be given to you, as well as a pedigree chart with either a three-generation or five-generation pedigree, depending on which one you selected on the breeding form.
Please remember that I do not send certificates/pedigrees through snail mail.
I use embryo transfer (except for Thoroughbreds), so my mares can have more than one foal a year. Twins can also be arranged if you wish.

Guidelines/rules
- I will not accept made-up or fictional pedigrees as matches for my horses, for realism purposes.
- Horses with an -r after their names are real.
- Please do not steal my horse's names, pedigrees, etc. Breedings are free, so there is no need to steal.
- The prefix RR (Red River) is my own, please do not use this unless it is on a horse I have bred myself that I give the ID to.
- The current breeding word is Crabbet.
- You will need to send a clear picture of the foal if you have said that it is not BSO, for display on the website.
- We follow genetic and colour rules, so it is advised that you use the Colour Caluculator to ensure that the selected parents can produce foals of that colour, or make sure one of the parents is the same colour as the foal. Similarly, a foal must be the same breed as its parents, or a cross of their breeds.
- If you have a website, please link back to us and put 'Bred by Red River Stud' on the foal's page.
Changes in ownership/customising/deceased horses
If your horse has changed ownership, please let me know so I can change links/records.
If your horse has 'died' (if it was ageing), let me know so I can update records. The same goes if your horse was sold and the new owner did not wish to keep the pedigree, or if the horse has been customised since the pedigree and certificate was issued.
